I watched the final episode of Cranford Sunday evening 5/18/08 and I must say it does not disapoint. It starts out somewhat quirky but that is what is so addiciting about the series. You just have to know what these ladies of Cranford are thinking or what comes next with their "own" preception of what is going on around them. Judi Dench as always, is wonderful in her understated, demure representation of the women of the time 1840s. Although, I must say it was also a learning experience of the era and it just goes to say, we are all more alike, than unalike...we basically want the same basic needs... to be loved, wanted and acknowledged.

The book in on my wishlist, Ana T and I was thinking to get all the three (Cranford, My Lady Ludlow and Mr Harrison’s Confessions) before seeing the serie. Can't wait to see it, Judi Dench is one of my favorite actresses. :D
