This biopic shows us the last year of the turbulent life of the famous russian writer, Leo Tolstoy. The incredible cast certainly draws attention – Christopher Plummer, Helen Mirren, Paul Giamatti, James McAvoy, Anne Marie Duff. The Last Station is not to be missed by all those who always admired the War and Peace author or even to any good fan of period dramas. There’s still no release date annouced.
Meanwhile, we leave you with some stills:

I agree that this looks to be a great film… can I correct you on one thing. The last actor you listed is named Anne Marie Duff. She is married to James McAvoy, but I don’t think she added the “Mc” to her name.
Oups, my bad! Already corrected. Thanks, Gengenger!
oH you know I’m all over this one too!
Li isto em miúda e já não me lembro de nada… que tal um desafio para pegarmos neste calhamaço juntas?
:)
Eu alinho, a única coisa que li do Tolstoy foi o Anna Karenina.
Mmmmm. I love me some McAvoy!
Oh, I am looking forward to this one. :)
I was hoping there already was a release date.
And I’m hoping it will be a bit about his “real” life… not to much dramatic changes and so on…
So did anyone ever see this?
I was just browsing through Amazon and saw this title is up for pre-orders. So I came here to see if there was a review. Saw this post…which I apparently commented on two years ago…huh, don’t remember that at all! :)
