The movie is based in Sheila Kohler’s novel with the same name and set during the 30’s in a South African boarding school for girls. The mysterious and sensual swim team teacher, Miss G., is determined to awake the girls independence but also their desires… At first, the girls are completely seduced but everything gets complicated with the arrival of an exotic Spanish student, Fiamma. Some of the students start to feel threatened by the teacher’s benevolent attitude towards the new girl.
The talented and beautiful Eva Green stars as Miss G. which gives us another good reason to see this movie. Sinead Cusak, Juno Temple and Imogen Poots make also part of the cast.
Directed by Jordan Scott (the daughter of Ridley Scott), this movie is gathering some good reviews and much praise for Eva Green, Imogen Poots and Maria Valverde’s performances.
A must see without a doubt! We’ll leave you with a video about the movie’s premiere and some images of the film.

Sounds good!
I love Eva Green. I first saw her in the movie The Dreamers, which I really recommend, if you haven’t seen it yet.
Not sure what to think about this movie. Eva Green I like. The topic sounds a bit like “Mona Lisas Smile” but more provocative? I’ll have to watch the movie, I guess.
Anna – with you on this one. I’m still not sure, but I guess it’s one of those ‘have to see it to know’ movies.
Sounds good! Great cast, beautiful visual! I hope I can see it soon…
