colinfirth We can’t pass up an opportunity of seeing Colin Firth on screen and things get even better when were talking about a period drama. Not only that but we finally get to see him opposite his P&P co-star Jennifer Ehle. The King’s Speech is a movie about King George VI of England, from the period when he was just the king’s younger brother, with ill health and a stammer, till when he became king and had to lead his country into war which forced him to deal with his problems and engage a speech therapist. It sounds like an interesting story and the cast also includes Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham-Carter ,among others, and is being directed by Tom Hooper (John Adams, The Queen). It will air sometime next year.

COLIN FIRTH? I’m in. Not much more needed. hehe
I’m also a fan of Jennifer Ehle, Geoffrey Rush and of course Helena Bonham Carter, who I adore for her diversity.
What role will Firth be playing? Not the younger brother of the king, will he?
