I have to say that I like seeing a new twist on period dramas, why not comic book style? Interesting!

Absolutely, Charley! I’m a big fan of this series, the stories are well written and with plenty of information about Paris and the years just before the WWI. It’s a must for any historical fiction fan, so I’m hoping the movie will be something with the same quality.:)

As much as I’m fed up with the monster mash-ups of Austen, it seems that this one beat them to the punch! I’ve never heard of this series of books so it must be even more exciting for you to see this made. Also, I just looked at the official site and I liked the video showing Paris then and now. *dreaming of being in Paris*

Paris is Paris, but the film looks cute. I absolutely adore the poster.

Oh, that looks great! I’d love to watch that!

Charleybrown,

Can’t stand the Jane Austen monsters, especially the last one with the sea creatures. But this is quite different (the story was written in the late 70’s) and is much more connected to the new century scientific discoveries, the occult and all kind of mysteries who were so at rage in those times. A bit like the new Sherlock Holmes, even if they have several decades between them.

Elenee, I also love the poster! Adèle is normally seen as a very fashionable young woman, so I truly hope to see some amazing costumes in this movie.

Another one I can’t wait to watch! I have loved the Adele comics since my childhood.
