William Burke and William Hare, also known as the West Port murderers, are two famous serial killers who provided the Edinburgh medical school with the dead bodies of their victims. Based in a true story set in 1827 in Edinburgh, Burke and Hare does not seem to be a story for the faint-hearted. With a brilliant cast lead by Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Isla Fischer, Tim Curry and Christopher Lee, we do hope this movie will give us a few chills and healthy scares.

It reminds me a bit of “From Hell” (with Johnny Depp).
