The date approaches for the premiere of one of our most anticipated series this year. The Pillars of the Earth, based on the novel by Ken Follet, will be aired on TV on July 23rd. While we wait we thought of sharing some videos with you!

Just the fact that Rufus Sewell is in this is enough to get me watching, despite the fact that I haven’t read the book yet.

I love Rufus Sewell, but it looks like they piled on the “man tan in a can” bronzer on his lovely face. He looks orange!

Eddie Redmayne has been chalking up a few historicals in the last few years. I think his look suits historicals over contemporary.
