By starting the story in South Africa, I was able to ascertain that the screenwriter had combined at least two of the characters of the story. Unfortunately, this little device made it easy for me to guess who the killer might be by process of elimination.

This movie is unforgettable. There is nothing "plain, obscure or little" about Carlotte Bronte and her masterpiece novel, Jane Eyre. I read the book and fell in love with Bronte's powerful descriptions of life in the 1800's. I decided to watch the BBC adaptation and I my heart was swept off once again with the characters chosen to play Mr.Rochester and Jane.It is so romantic, sensual, with slow moving scenes of passion that leave an impression on your heart and soul. This BBC version was, in my opinion, the most perfect rendition of the book. I adore the characters chosen to depict Mr. Rochester and Jane. Their scenes are electrifying and I wish there were more movies like this one.

I always thought the 1983 mini-series with Timothy Dalton was the best, until I saw the 2006 adaptation -- Toby & Ruth were smokin' hot together, in a sedate way of course ;) So I'm not counting this one out, it might surprise us all. At least Mia is tiny, and Michael is 6 feet tall, I always felt that Rochester should tower over Jane! And as for her hair, they can always give her a brunette rinse, that's no big deal. Can't wait to see it ;)

Hi! I've finished the challenge some time ago and I sent you all the links to the movies I've reviewed, but I believe it hasn't arrived. My former blog was www.mrsthorntondarcy.wordpress.com, but I changed to another blog and did the same with the reviews I had already posted. I hope you''l be able to change the links and to add the new ones. Thanks for hosting the challenge!

I can't imagine a better person to be Mr.Rochester than TOBY STEPHENS. I have no idea about jane Eyre, but I guess Mia could make it work. We can wait to see.
